Many Brokers, Buyers, and Investment Bankers are aware of other Human Capital data collection tools, but to our knowledge every tool out there leverages historical aggregate data or scraped data from social media accounts. This aggregated data creates predictive models based on industry trends. Though this data is non-voluntary it also has many flaws that make it unreliable, but of course some data is better than no data.

This is a great question. Because no one can predict the future and because it is likely that the buyer won't trust the word of the seller, hence the need for a CIM or VDR the answer is the valuation doesn't matter. What matters is how many people are in the company.
When a company is more than just the founder(s) then Human Capital Health and Data becomes valuable to most buyers. This means that EVERY deal size may have conditions where our HCHR is essential to getting a deal closed and making the buyer happy.
Since the beginning of some of the first recorded M&A deals well over 400 years ago Human Capital has become the increasing challenge that has plagued the markets and with AI there are many incredible methods that have come out.
Generally speaking our competition is firms like Aon (one of the big four) who only deals with large multi billion dollar companies, scraping software, or lagging data collections agencies such as consumer targeting software entities.
This data that they gather is powerful, but has many holes. Although they would be considered our competition we actually encourage our clients to leverage these tools along-side our data as our formulas, collection methods, and live data collection software provides a different lens that fills gaps in areas they can't get access to.
Many buyers leverage these tools, but it rarely is helpful for the seller or broker when they are in pre-listing or even the pre-sale phase of their M&A journey.
This is a great question and we say you shouldn't sell the HCHR to your client. When we think about the intentions of gathering the data, preparing the CIM, Preparing the VDR, starting conversations, building a buyer pool, etc. the whole point is to make the buyer happy.
The question is do you sell the adjacent service providers that collect the data to put the CIM together or do you sell the CIM?
